Kinect & Kinect Adventures v1 lauch

SR Designer

  • Lead the Reflex Ridge mini game from research and concept to development and release as a part of Kinect Adventures and the v1 release of Kinect.

  • Design lead for the delivery of Space Pop overseeing the publishing team for a successful release.

  • Designed and presented showcase demos for the HoloLens announcement and amplification events.


Kinect incubation & prototyping

Designer

  • Created prototypes at various levels for concept and user testing during initial incubation to inform the target interaction model and hardware requirements.

  • Created a prototyping tool allowing the design team to tune the interaction variables of skeletal tracking for Kinect Adventures’ core gameplay mechanics.

  • Delivered prototypes and points of view that contributed to the core feature set of Kinect.

  • Performed various research methodologies and developed rapid prototypes to establish key differentiators for the platform, contributing to the vision and principles guiding the Kinect program and products.

  • Created rapid prototypes at all fidelity levels (paper, video, animations, & basic scripting) for concept testing.
